About the tour

Wild Romanticism. A brook. Birdsong. Dense forest. Silence. Red deer. Meadows and pastures. Untouched nature. A lake. Butterflies. Meadows and pastures. A river.

These tours are about our perception – the perception of nature, the landscape, the animals, the plants and the mushrooms.

We discover the Wispertaunus on different routes, some of which we have created individually. The exciting topography of the Taunus has created a very diverse, wooded landscape in this area. We hike through cool high forests with old stands of beech and oak, walk along rocky slopes and cross deep, watery valleys with picturesque streams.

The cool Taunus climate and the Mediterranean Rhine climate meet directly in the Wispertaunus, coupled with a particularly high biodiversity with fauna, flora and funghi. In the valleys, diverse microclimates prevail, stunted oaks grow on the sun-exposed slopes, and we see the most colourful mosses and the most diverse lichens.

And this is exactly what we discover intensively: we immerse ourselves in nature and make it tangible and experienceable: we pick up the smells along the way, feel the wind, the sun, hear sounds – concentrate on our senses to sharpen our perception. Nature experience activities during the tour help us to do this.
